How to build customized client-ready trademark search reports with Haloo
Haloo has developed the most advanced custom reporting tools on the market, allowing users to build, customize and download client-ready comprehensive trademark search reports directly within the Haloo platform.
Custom reports can easily be built in minutes for both Instant Comprehensive Searches and Global Knockout Searches using the steps below.
1. Select Results
When reviewing trademark search results, select the results you'd like included in your report by checking the "Add to report" box for each search result.
Results can be added from all search sections: Federal Trademarks, State Trademarks (US), Business Names (US), Web CL and Domain Names.
For instant comprehensive reports, reports are prepared separately for each jurisdiction you have searched. Be sure to work within each jurisdiction's tab in your search as you build your reports.
Results that you select from Web CL & Domain Names will be included in reports for all jurisdictions.
To include all results from a given Category (eg, "Exact Matches (All Classes)" or "Near Exact Matches (Same Class)"), click the "Add to report" box at the top of the category bucket.
NOTE: When adding results to your report, make sure see the "Report updated" notification at the bottom right of your screen. Adding information or making changes too quickly may prevent information from being updated within your report.
2. View Reports
Once you have selected all of the results to be included in the report, click "View Reports" in the top right hand corner of your screen. This will launch Haloo's advanced custom reporting building workspace.
3. Customize Reports
Build customized reports in Haloo's advanced report building workspace.
Edit section by section, as required, including:
Title Page
Editable section. Add Client Information including Client Company Name, Name and Reference Number, as well as details of the report completion date, search date, jurisdiction and search parameters.
Table of Contents
Fixed section.
Federal Trademarks
Editable section. In this section you can further customize your selected trademark search results, including:
- adding remarks to the section as a whole
- adding remarks to individual search results
- moving search results from one category bucket to another category bucket
- re-ordering results within each conflict bucket, by clicking and dragging results
- hide results from report
- viewing full record details
State Trademarks (US Instant Comprehensive Searches Only)
Editable section. Same functionality as above.
Business Names (US Instant Comprehensive Searches Only)
Editable section. Same functionality with comments and reordering as above.
Web Common Law
Editable section. Same functionality with comments and reordering as above.
Domain Names
Editable section. Same functionality with comments and reordering as above.
Data and Legal
Fixed section that provides additional details regarding data sources, data latency, and legal disclaimers.
Download Report
Once satisfied with your custom-built report, download the report with the "Download" button on the top right of the screen.
Reports will export in Microsoft Word.
