      How to Set Up a New Watch

       

       

      Watch Details

      • Watch Name or Reference:
        Enter a name or reference for easy identification of your watch.
      • Watch Type :
        • MarkSelector helps you find existing trademarks to select for your watch
        • Affix (coming soon)
        • Logo (coming soon)
        • Owner (coming soon)
        • Competitor (coming soon)
        • Status (coming soon)
      • Watch Settings:
        • Filed 
        • Published 
        • Post publication (coming soon)
      • Jurisdictions: 
        Choose the jurisdictions you want to monitor for potential conflicts.
      • Frequency of reports:
        • Weekly 
        • Monthly 
        • Daily  (coming soon) 
      • Notifications: 
        Choose how you would like to be notified of new reports. This will automatically notify the current user who is setting up the watch. 
        • Email
        • Dashboard
        • Email and Dashboard
      • Additional Emails (optional):
        Enter additional email addresses to receive notifications when a watch report is ready.

      Parameters

      Scope Selection:
      Choose the scope of the watch:
        • Narrow:  Focused, narrower scope
        • Medium: Most similar to Haloo Legacy Watch Results scope

      Nice Class (optional)

      Select classes that are most relevant to your watch.

      While this does not limit your watch, selecting relevant Nice Classes helps the AI prioritize trademarks in these classes within your results.

      Find and Select Trademarks to Watch

      SmartSearch:
      • Enter a search using natural language to find trademarks to monitor.
      • You can search for trademarks, representatives, owners, application numbers, registration numbers and more. 
      • Foreign Characters: Users can enter search prompts using foreign characters, either entirely in a foreign language or partially in English with trademark names, owner names, or representatives in a foreign language.
      • Example: All in foreign language: 显示商标名称快乐
      • Example: Partially in English: show me a trademark name '快乐'
      • Searches can also be performed by translation or transliteration.
      • Example: Translation: "happy"
      • Example: Transliteration: SAN GUO ZHUAN WU SHU FU 

      Note: Each foreign language applies only to its respective jurisdiction—e.g., you cannot search in Chinese when selecting the US as the country.

      • Query:
          • Switch to Query to see your natural language search as a query which you can edit and add to
          • Using a 'space' bar will allow you to see a dropdown with available querying options 


      Select Trademarks:
      Use the checkbox next to each trademark to select the trademarks for monitoring.


      Review All selections by clicking "Show selected items" to filter on just those marks to be Watched

      Save Your Watch:  Once you have selected the trademarks to monitor, click Save.
